Kid Stuff Family Entertainment Center takes catering to families and children to a new level.
Based in Springfield, Massachusetts, they serve strictly organic and/or natural whole foods which allow them to provide families in their community with a safe, fun, healthy and entertaining environment to Party, Play, and Learn. Children visiting this Family Entertainment Center can still look forward to all the usual party fare such as pizza, popcorn, and cupcakes while the parents have the peace of mind knowing that their children are eating these treats which come from quality ingredients with children’s allergies in mind.
In keeping with their desire to provide quality experiences and service to their customers, General Manager Michael Mitchell attended “Birthday University.” This program is designed to assist Family Entertainment Centers in providing top notch parties for their clients. The speaker was an advocate of online booking because it helps to make things easier for the customer. With this in mind, Kid Stuff signed up with Partywirks to make this transition to online services.
What has surprised Michael the most since using Partywirks is “the speed in which it took off.” Within days of going live they had 2-3 online party bookings and it hasn’t stopped since. Out of 15 parties each weekend day 8-9 of those parties are being booked online and they have only been providing this service for two months!
Not only has the addition of online booking been a great service for their clients it has also helped them with their internal labor delegation. Prior to Partywirks, staff would spend 25-30 minutes on the phone with a customer. Now, that a majority of the parties are being booked online, these staff members can focus their time and energy providing even better customer service and also in soliciting new business.
Online booking is very appealing to groups and Michael has already had one group book online in 2011, and there has been a 400% increase in fundraising events in 2011!
Kid Stuff caters to the special needs of the children and families in their community. The addition of online booking convenience is one more way that they let their customers know they care about quality customer service and attention to detail!
